Mr. Saad started doing Consultancy in April, 2017 and already has few success stories including playing the role of National Expert in Derivative Market for Capital Market Development (third phase) project driven by Asian Development Bank. It must be mentioned that he joined a private firm a few months back but found consultancy as his comfort zone and got back to my seat in three months time.His last mentionable corporate position was Chief Operating Officer, International Leasing Capital Limited (ILCL). It was a newborn Merchant Bank that he led between July, 2012 and April, 2016. It explored both Investment Management and Investment Banking scopes in Bangladesh at this time. He led International Leasing Securities Limited (ILSL) in his later days under the same umbrella and it stood as the sixth largest brokerage house by trade volumes in Dhaka Stock Exchange under my leadership in December, 2015.He also worked for Asian Tiger Capital Partners (ATCP), a British Consultancy Firm based in Bangladesh, before joining ILCL. ATCP deployed Local and International Equity Research, Industry Research, M&A Deals along with other deals with focus on financial structuring, business development and IPO advisory to him. He developed his expertise in Portfolio Management and Risk Management while working for Logan Rockefeller Global Bangladesh Asset Management Company Limited (LRGBAMCL), the first US based Asset Management Firm operating in Bangladesh, and was one of the founding Management team members of it.He had the scope to enrich his client service skills with regulatory and legislative knowledge and understandings over cross-border financing & investments dealing with multilayer Investment Banking Sales Teams along with local agents of international brokers-dealers from a very start of his career with Securities Services, Standard Chartered Bank, Bangladesh since October, 2015.The aforementioned skills and experiences makes him confident to deal with a spectrum of clients starting from Local Corporate to Global Fund Managers. His key transferable skills include leading people and team work, developing and negotiating on financial products and M&A deals and a profound network of local experts.
